The comic, inspired by the Getting ready for court film, was launched in January at a showing of the film to the Gloucester Learning Disability and Criminal Justice System working group. The comic was well received and acts as an extension of the film.
Nick’s story:
Nick tells us how Raising Your Game has helped him grow:
“I started going to the Monday meetings. I got to know other people through games. We played this game with toilet roll, where you have to take a bit of toilet roll and then share something about yourself. Everyone else got one bit and I got five, so I had to share five things! I met my friends Nathan, Vicky and Bernadette at the meetings.”
